Etsy put my shop on holiday mode...
I logged in to find a message saying that they did it to help me catch up with my orders, I have 3? And my dispatch time is 100%. No refund, no disputes.
My shop has been opened for over 2 years
The message then changed to, we are reviewing your documentation although I haven't uploaded any documentation?
And why don't I have access to the live chat?!?! I spent the whole day yesterday waiting for the little conversation bubble to turn up and it never did! So now its been over 24 hours waiting for an email reply from Etsy to tell me what is going on!?!

I'm in exactly the same situation...
Both your shops have items which infringes on trademarks so it could be they are checking your listings, did you receive an email from Etsy?
Also for some reason live chat is disabled for those who are forced into vacation mode.
No email from Etsy. They usually just remove the item for infringement. And they say if it's suspended they will email and block your account which they haven't done.
That really depends on how many you have.
There have been so many bad articles and reports regarding Etsy becoming the biggest marketplace to purchase counterfeit items that the time comes they will have to have a full sweep.
it keeps giving me error message, wont work.
it has done this to sellers before but somehow has logged their contact number even though it showed the error message and they received a call within the hour.
Maybe also try in a different browser
After somebody suggested the call back feature which I didn't know existed, they called me straight back and advised me that they couldn't see why it had been put in holiday mode. She said that somebody would have to call me back from a different department because she wasn't able to see why? So doesn't look like its getting resolved anytime soon...
Doing the same here, I phoned them yesterday and today just to keep pushing. They said my case has been escalated and I should receive a response within 48 hours... nothing so far

It seems as though many UK shops are being put into 'holiday mode' for no reason.
It's so unfair! I hope you all get your shops back very soon and am just waiting for it to be my turn
@CryzalisDesigns omg thank you so much! I can't believe there is no email no notification from Etsy. No apology, no compensation for loss of sales, loss of continuity. They didn't even reply to my ticket. Disgusting behaviour!
Thanks for letting me know because it didn't even take the holiday mode off until I refreshed it 3 times!
@Sbcreationsukshop I'm really sorry, and I'm seeing several Threads such as yours. For some, I think it has to do with the INFORM Act, and rolling Verification. Here is the article (currently up in Tech. Issues). I can understand having to Re-Verify, but have know idea why on earth Etsy is suddenly putting Shops on Vacation to do this Verification (if that is in fact why yours is on Vac.)
