THIS IS MY EIGHTH REQUEST FOR HELP. I AM A STAR SELLER WITH NO CASES, NO MONEY OWED, AND FIVE STAR REVIEWS. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME GET MY SHOP OFF OF VACATION HOLD. ALSO REFUND ME FOR ETSY PLUS SINCE MY SHOP IS NOT ACTIVE.
I have tried for weeks to reach someone for help with my Etsy shop. It was placed on vacation by Etsy while I verified information. I received confirmation that the information was verified, but my shop is still on vacation. This is destroying my business and has cost me at least hundreds of dollars in missed sales. I have received no communication from Etsy regarding why my shop is still closed, there is no banner on my shop manager page explaining why it is on hold, and I am getting nowhere with my multiple requests for help. I need to know what is needed so that I can avoid closing my business. PLEASE HELP!
Has anyone had ANY luck reaching anyone at Etsy for a resolution?
I appreciate your frustration but posting on here does not guarantee a solution although perhaps a Mod will step in. Unfortunately the forum is full of similar threads
Submitting multiple requests puts you at the bottom of the queue each time so it is best to wait for a reply and then reply to it saying you still need help.
I hope it is resolved soon.
I understand what you're saying, but I have reached out every way that I know how to with no acknowledgement or responses at all. A mod responded to my previous post, a help request was created and immediately closed with no way to respond. It tells me if the issue was not resolved to create a new request.
It is unfortunate that you are dealing with this. Normally, it turns out that some small thing in the verification process did not match. You said you received a confirmation that it was verified. I am going to ask if you are certain it said you were verified or if it was an acknowledgement that they received your documents.
While I realize you may have already done all of this, I am going to share a link with you regarding verification processes. It even requires you to upload a selfie now. That means you have to use the Persona website as it captures your image. "Persona will help us match your selfie to your ID photo to verify your identity. You will be asked to take a selfie while standing still or by moving your face slowly to the left and right." Also, your banking information needs to match all your other forms of identity.

Thank you! I did receive a few acknowledgements initially, and then received an email stating the information was verified. The section of my account that has government ID also has a green bubble that says "verified" so I'm not sure what else is needed.
I don't recall doing anything with Persona and this is the first I've heard of it. I've been selling for the past year with no issues. Is Persona new? I'm happy to do whatever they need to verify my identity or business, but they have not communicated that anything else is needed. When I try to re-type all of my information and upload new documentation, everything is grayed out and they will not let me do anything.
Other than the forced vacation mode, my account shows no issues at all and they keep charging me for Etsy Plus as if everything is good. I've disputed the charge, but the previous charge was taken from my Etsy balance.
How frustrating!!
These probably won't work, I've not had to test the theory on the billing card one but it can't hurt. I've read these here in the forums when someone comes back to say their problem is cleared up.
Maybe try:
-Remove the "billing" card and re-add it. (from another post like yours)
-Check that you have a phone number in the appropriate field.
I had a verification issue once a few months ago and it was the phone number. When I joined Etsy, it wasn't required. Now it appears to be. When I added it, forced vacay went away. Star Seller came back after a few hours. Everything was marked as verified so I was confused at first. Saw the empty phone number field, filled it in and fixed.
Probably not your issue but both are worth a look/try. Can't hurt at this point.
I have heard you must add a new credit card card before you delete the original card or it won’t work.

Unfortunately, changing the billing credit card did not work. I do have a phone number listed in the appropriate field. Maybe it takes some time to update? We'll see. Thank you again for your time.
This might sound silly, but if it says you're verified, are you able to go to the vacation tab and see if you can take yourself off of vacation mode or is it blocked by Etsy?
Not silly at all, but I have tried this. It won't let me move the vacation toggle at all. Etsy seems to have that blocked as well.
can I ask how do you get your shop off vacation mode,mine is still in vacation mode,the info is verified already,thank you for your reply
Mine was eventually taken off vacation mode by Etsy, but it took over a month and I still never received an email telling me why it was on vacation mode.
