Etsy Non Response to 2 Different Appeals?

Hi all,

I am writing here to understand a bit better the Etsy appeal process, and I understand I may not be in the correct board?

Basically I had my account suspended at the beginning of March due to 'case rate standard' issues. I had 4 cases over the Christmas period due to unforeseen postage delays and also a complete shut down in the national postage system in early January from a snow storm.

I was warned by Etsy mid February that if my case rate standards were not met by March 1st my account would be suspended. On March 1st a new review period has commenced and my case rate was now at 1, and so falling within Etsy's guidelines of no more than 3 cases.

On March 5th I was contacted by Etsy to say my account was suspended due to case rate standards. I then proceeded to appeal the suspension, citing in great detail why I believed this was a mistake and the circumstances that led to this suspension. 1 month later I still received no response for the appeal and my shop was then permanently removed.
I then had another opportunity to appeal this decision at the beginning of April.

I now have not heard back from 2 separate appeals and it is approaching 2 months since my initial suspension with no contact from Etsy.

Is there potantially technical issues with the appeal process or can anyone point me in a direction for help?

Kind regards,
Lar

No more than 3 cases where Etsy refunded from your account. That’s why.

"I was warned by Etsy mid February that if my case rate standards were not met by March 1st my account would be suspended. You did not sell enough at the end of February to improve your case rate. There is no mistake there.

Postage delays are covered by Etsy on orders with seller protection, so the reason you didn't have seller protection is the reason you were shut, not the postal delays. Your appeals would need to address that issue - why did you not comply with the seller protection rules? If your appeals only mentioned postal delays, then they would likely fail.

While Etsy can take over a month to read appeals, that probably isn't going to help you, based on what you told us here.
