I'm not sure if this is happening to everyone or if it's a seller specific issue? I wanted to share just in case it's happening to others:
Be sure to check your Etsy Shop for sales and messages. I'm suddenly not receiving Etsy notifications which has never happened before. Customer messages along with orders would have been missed if I hadn't checked in.

Yes, I have no idea why this happens. After years of absolutely accurate emails from Etsy, they stopped one day - about 6 years ago. I went through all the back and forth with Support and my email account - nothing had changed on my end. Then, after a few months, they started up again. Then became spotty and unreliable, and have been ever since.
I only get a fraction of the emails I should be getting for sales, convos, transfers, refunds, labels, even my own purchases as a Buyer. I get the Etsy promo emails, like "this week in your shop".
If I get some of them, but not all - how in the world can that be an issue on my end?
In any case, I've accustomed myself to not rely on emails, and am sure to check my shop daily.
* For me, the apps seem to be reliable, but I know some have issues with that instead.
@PillowDetails Yes, I'm referring to emails. Your experience is not a good one. I'm positive this issue is not on our end. I have my website connected with other selling sites including Etsy. Sales notifications are emailed to me from my website for the connected sites although they are somewhat delayed unless a direct sale is made. I just checked and I've just received an email from my standalone website sharing a sale has been received on Etsy. But, I still have no notifications from Etsy which should have been received much earlier. If other sites are picking these up, it seems that the problem would be Etsy. And I agree, I never rely on Etsy notifications.
I guess I'm used to it - since Friday - 3 separate sales - one email.
Messages - same thing - many messages that I never got emails forwarded, but got sound/number alerts on the app

your not alone its been going on for a few hours, a few of us have noticed. SOme have informed chat, but last I looked and heard chat stopped working
