Hi everyone

For some reason. I cannot connect to Etsy helpdesk from my end. I would like to know if you have an email of Etsy customer service that I can write to them to ask about VAT/ price selling between UK and EU.

If you go to https://www.etsy.com/help/contact and select from the options til you get to a page with a grey "I still need help" button does it show you options to live chat, email and/or call? Or does it loop you back to the beginning? Some people report the latter happening sometimes.

The help center has various articles about VAT and other sellers here in the forums may be able to help.

Hello Etsy Support,
I have submitted my government-issued ID for verification on July 2, 2025. The status still shows "Pending Verification". Could you please let me know the current status or if any additional information is required from my side?

@AdeebaByRugs  We are just sellers in the forum.  Verification is outsourced from Etsy and  usually takes up to 21 days to complete.

Why is my identity being rejected?

What is the problem? My government ID is being rejected.

@AdeebaByRugs: One of the most common reasons apparently is data not matching exactly - for example your name the way you entered it on Etsy and what it says on your documentation such as John Smith and John A Smith.

Just so you know, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy moderators do sometimes read and reply to posts).

Before posting on the Forums, please check if you are not bumping an old thread that hasn't seen any activity in a while. You can do this by looking at the dates of the most recent replies.
