Etsy convos are wonky.
I have had to create convo replies in Google Docs and then cut and paste because I cannot type a full reply to a custom order without spending way too much time because of the jump in the curser.
I read the forums and know that etsy is messing around with convos.
YES I have cleared my browser.
YES I have used both Safari and Chrome.
YES i have logged out and logged in.
When Etsy wants us to reply in a timely manner for a star and makes it more difficult to do just that, I continue to be annoyed and disillusioned that anyone knows what they are actually tinkering with.
For what it's worth ... I use firefox and have no problems.
Another forum on here has also brought the issue up, so it's not just you. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.
I sent a Message to another Seller on my Team (after she said it was OK to send a photo of something). We exchanged a few words and I didn't have trouble (knock on wood). *Desktop computer, Chrome, Windows 10.
(Bear in mind though, I'm not selling. So I don't know what it would be like if a Buyer Messaged me, etc.) Could be very different.
Using Safari on my iPad with no problems.
I've had no problems today or tonight. I've sent messages through Firefox on my laptop and the Sell on Etsy app on my Samsung phone.
Hope it is resolved for you soon.
People have been posting about this for a couple of weeks. Etsy was working on it once upon a time, but it didn't seem to get totally resolved.
Yes I have this issue periodically. When it happens, I use Notepad to write my message, then copy/paste it into Etsy. I'm not sure what the issue is, but I have noticed it within the past month or so. Not every time, but enough to be annoying.
