I am hoping someone can help me please. My sisters and I have an Etsy store and work out of my basement. We are sewing all day long (my middle sister has terrible carpal tunnel from it!) and we hand-make all of our items. We are mothers and work while our kids are in school.
We recently had an Etsy bot take down a listing in error, I reached out, and a customer service rep apologized and it was reinstated. A month later, a bot took down more listings (that we handmake ourselves) and took our star seller badge (that we have had since the star seller badge was created). We received an email saying “one more policy violation and we would be permanently suspended.” We were so surprised as this happened while we are sitting at our sewing machines.
Then yesterday the bots removed another listing. We are so heartbroken and continue to reach out to Etsy for help. We do not want to be shut down, as we love selling on Etsy and are incredibly careful to follow the rules. Once Etsy customer service rep told us it was because we are also selling on Amazon, and are using the same size chart. Apparently that flagged the bot to take the listings down. We are hoping someone can look at this soon, since these items are handmade.
