How does someone set up an Etsy API for a non-website based automation?
I'm setting up a middle man between my companies archaic CRM system and Etsy, but each time I try to put in an explanation of the API use case, it gets rejected. I don't need full access or anything, just personal use.
@BandBCollaborations : We have an in house API integration to our "desktop" CRM that does not use a website.
How'd you do it? We've tried to put na.com and leaving the website blank, but our request keeps getting denied.
It was ages ago (V2 of the API) so I am not sure, I do know that we had to put our website in even though it was not going to be used on it and also that we had to apply for a developers account and set up two factor authorization on our Etsy account. Perhaps they have changed something because of V3 of the API. We are going to set up a new integration for V3 so as soon as we try we'll update here.
