Either I have missed something and Etsy now consider Saturday a day when we are all supposed to be working and dispatching, or there is a bug in the system for delivery dates. Even without the bank holidays for the UK this weekend, my delivery dates are showing as two days earlier than they should be.
For example, order placed 30th March with a 5-8 working day dispatch time and 2-3 working day delivery time, should show as delivery 8-12th April. The customer has been given 6-12th April. Naturally they are unhappy and all I can do is apologise. I extended my dispatch time to allow for the double bank holiday to begin with.
Anyone else experiencing this or just me?
If you use all of etsy's automated stuff, then it's all automated, for you
so it's 2-3 working delivery days from when you buy your labels, if you buy 2nd class, and 1-2 days, if you buy 1st class.
If you buy etsy labels on Tue 4th, then delivery should be updated to 6th-7th with 2nd class.
If you want your own dates,
choose "other" as the shipper, and put in your own dates for delivery, and buy labels off etsy - I buy Royal mail click and drop
I don't use Etsy labels. This delivery date was given to the buyer when they purchased and is two days out based on all the options I have input. It isn't across all products, even those with the same delivery profile, so it is clearly a bug in the system. I have not seen this before in my 11 years on Etsy.
Chose "other" as the shipper, and you can put in whatever dates you want,
and etsy doesn't override them
