Estimated Arrival Dates on Mobile Browser

I have noticed a strange glitch. If you look at my shop on the APP or on a computer, the Estimated Arrival Dates for my items are there very clearly. If you use a mobile browser it is not. HOWEVER, it is for most other shops. It shows up directly above the "ADD TO CART" button. I've tried different phones and different browsers (safari vs chrome etc) and my est arrival dates never show up on the mobile site.  I feel like this is why SO many of my customers do not know when their item will arrive or believe I ship as fast as Amazon. On the mobile site for my shop, the ONLY way you can see my dates are by clicking on the "shipping and polices" but we all know that hardly anyone is doing that.

I clicked on a variety of other shops on the mobile site and most otherS DO show the shop's est. arrival date above Add to Cart on all their items. I did find a few others like mine that do not.

I chatted with Etsy support about this issue and completely got the run around. They couldn't figure out why my shop's dates where not there. She told to clear my browser history and sent stuff out of the seller handbook about how to set up shipping profiles. I've been on Etsy for over 10 years, I get it, I know how to do that. I had already told her I had used multiple phones and their browsers and got the same results.

Is there a setting I need to edit to get this fixed? Or is this a weird Etsy glitch?

I see what you mean. I think it might have to do with your two variation boxes and your personalization box using up the space above the Add to Cart. There's no room for the ship by dates.

I wondered this too. However, I have some items that have only one variation and it has the issue too. Some shops that do show the date, have multiple variations and a personalization field. This is very odd to me.

Also, if you go to my "embroidered bag" section. The tote bag with the Bee on it has no variations at all and it doesn't show there either

Might be one of the Etsy tests. I see that you added an info graphic to your photos. I think that's all you can do.

Sorry.

Re: Estimated Arrival Dates on Mobile Browser

I have also come to the conclusion that Etsy doesn't put a lot of time and effort into mobile browser support.

I think they want to push everyone on to the App. However, our shops have to be functional where our customers find us.

I, and others, reported the site wide issue of extremely cropped About section photos when viewed in a mobile browser in May of 2022. It's still happening.

I was told they prioritize issues based on how it affects the marketplace.

Re: Estimated Arrival Dates on Mobile Browser

I am totally guessing, but I think MOST of my customers are using the mobile browser because nobody sees the Estimated Arrival Dates. I had lots of issues at Christmas and now the same thing is happening for Valentines Day. If the arrival date was above the Add to Cart button like it is on most other shops, I feel like they would see it (not everyone, but more people than now).

I chatted with Etsy again this morning and the support person kept asking me for specific order numbers that this was affecting. I was like WHAT?! How would I know what device or app or browser my customers are using. Support is completely useless. It was like she didn't read any of my issues at all. And then of course I get all the copy and paste from the handbook again. She eventually ended the chat because she didn't know what to do.

Something needs to be done about this. Etsy's fees have gone up so much and they seem to be doing less to support sellers.
