Error saving changes to listings, update on fix?

Is there any information on this situation, an estimate of when it will be fixed? I still can't save edits of any kind on 97 of my listings as of today. I still get the red box with error message. I've tried everything. I got a case going with Etsy five weeks ago, but haven't heard back in three weeks after I was told the issue is indeed on Etsy's end and they are working on it. Sadly, the majority of the listings I can't edit are seasonal ones I was hoping to update and optimize before their peak selling time this year, which is almost here. Trying to be patient, hoping for a solution very soon.

Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately I've tried all the things and they didn't make a difference. Different browsers, cleared cache and cookies, and a bunch of other things that I found in the forums, and things that Etsy support asked me to try. After nothing helped, Etsy said it is on their end, so have to wait for their programmers to fix it.

Hey there, 

I had the same problem with a digital listing. You can fix it by changing the listing from "Digital" to "Physical Item", fill in the details with random stuff, apply and then go back and change it to digital, and it will save. I hope this will help you too!

I agree! It's so frustrating to want to update seasonal listings right now but I can't. If I made new listings, I would lose the views/sales history on them, plus anyone who favorited them would think they just weren't available anymore (which equals lost sales). Not to mention the unnecessary additional listing fees. Since Etsy knows it's on their end, an update on progress would be nice. This is now six weeks since I got a case started about it. It actually was going on for months, but I used to be able to switch to the old listing form when it happened (which would save the same changes just fine). Back then, I was assured by Etsy (via Chat) that it was a known issue and would be fixed before the old listing form went away.

Try this stupid fix that works for me:

Change your listing to a DIGITAL listing. 

Then change it back to a PHYSICAL listing. Adjust your shipping profiles.

Then publish.

The listings I cannot edit/save are digital listings. I just tried switching one to physical then back to digital and it still doesn't save any changes.

I'm having this problem right now. I've tried all the suggestions, nothing has helped (including Etsy Support). Am I correct in assuming that this is an Etsy problem and not a me specific problem? How long does it take Etsy to fix the issue? Really annoyed right now.

Same with me. I found a temporary workaround: it has to do with disabled variations. Example:

A listing with following options: color Blue and Green and material Metal and Wood, SKUs changing with every variation:

Blue - Metal - sku1

Blue - Wood - sku2

Green - Metal - sku3

Green - Wood - sku4

If you disable variation sku1 AND sku2 or sku3 AND sku4, you will see the error message and not be able to save the listing. Workaround: enable all the variations you need and delete all others that you don't need instead of disabling them!

Same here did everything as suggested by support and nothing worked. Must be something internal.

I'm still having this issue. This has gone on far too long. I've lost hope it will ever be fixed. So sad, I hate to lose the favorites and views/sales history (not to mention extra listing fees), but copying the listings and editing those looks like the only work-around. Just plain wrong!
