I passed all the qualifiers for Star Seller for October and received an email stating that I made it, yet my account under Shop Manager tells me that I did not, and my profile no longer has my Star Seller badges.
I was at $299.00 in sales on September 30th and received a sale around 10pm PDT that night, which would have made me surpass the $300.00 quota. Since my account told me I didn't qualify, I assumed either I needed to have purchased shipping before midnight to complete the order or that there is some sort of time zone difference (as others have mentioned). However, I received an email on October 3rd with the subject line "Congrats ArtofTessaMaurer you’re a Star Seller for October!" and the body of it saying that I'd made it. So, clearly part of Etsy agrees that I did, in fact (and literally did), make Star Seller. My account should reflect this.
Has this happened to anyone before? Any way to get it resolved?
Orders that happen on the last day or so may not count towards the calculations for that month. From what you're describing, it sounds like there are two different calculations going on: one for the actual badge, and another for the emails.
If you look on the previous (not current) time period, is it showing that you did sell enough to get the badge? Or is it still showing that you didn't? The percentages don't matter if the sales minimums haven't been met.
@ArtofTessaMaurer: It sounds like you have entered the dreaded time zone trap. It seems that Etsy uses UTC for most things, but many "reports" are based on your time zone. September 30 to you may be October 1 to Etsy.

It says I didn't on the site ($299.00), so I assumed it was an undisclosed time zone issue. It's that email I got a few days later saying that I did qualify for Star Seller that's extra absurd. When I click through on it, it takes me to Shop Manager saying I didn't. At least part of Etsy knows I actually qualified, just not the part that matters, apparently.

Yeah, that's what I figure too, but it's just such a dumb error to have...
@ArtofTessaMaurer That happened to me one time too.
That sale would not count as Etsy follows UTC time so Sept had ended on the 30th via UTC time.
Buying shipping would not have counted.
If everything goes well in October you should get it in November.
I understand you were disappointed.
