I want to update the quantity in my listing variations but there is no option to do that. I only get the menu to edit (keep / remove) the ticks "prices vary... / quantities vary...".
When you edit the Variation, yes, you should check the box for "quantities vary" . Update /publish that sub-window, then back on your main listing page there will be spots to enter the quantities for each option. If that's what you need to do.
If you have your listings set up using the “quantities vary” feature, you cannot use the quick edit. You will need to go into each listing and change the quantities. You can use the quick edit feature to change quantities if the listing is set up with just price variations. I just checked my listings and I was able to change quantities only not prices. This Etsy article explains the quick edit feature.
It was further down below the "Inventory and pricing" section at the edit listing page. I kept clicking the "Edit quantity options" link and there there's only that single menu, no other options.
