I went into my inactive listings to edit a listing there. I changed some photos, kept some that were there, made other changes, and hit the "preview button." Then I hit the "Publish" button. Now it is completely gone.
I turned my computer off, then on again, and still nothing. So my photos that were already on the listing are gone, and the new photos, description, everything. I checked active, expired, sold out, and inactive listings, and nothing. I was not charged.
Now I have to hopefully find the old photos that were of the artwork without the frame. The frame is sealed now with the artwork, so hopefully I can find them.
Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions??
Thanks
I would wait a while and then check again. I think Etsy is using cloud storage and it sometimes takes a while for updates to publish.
Appreciate your answer! I will check back in a while before I try to relist.
Thank you!
I had this happen last week. The listing didn't show up, but the total number of listings in the shop went up by one.
Eventually, about 10 minutes maybe, it showed up.
If you look in your listings rather than your shop it might be there, sometimes it takes a while.
Thank you; will try that.
Thank you!
I'll try that
Thank you!
I'll try that.
I've had that happen. They have always shown up within a few minutes as @OneEyeCatStudio says
Thank you all, but it looks like it is still gone, and it has been over an hour.
I found the photos I need for on one of my thumb drives, thankfully.
I will double check tomorrow to make sure it is still not there, then list it all over again. At least I didn't get charged for it. LOL
That is just weird.
Be sure to double check that 2 don't end up listed if you only have one! (I actually did that once and sold both! How embarassing that was!)
What is it of? The penguin one? It has today's date. As does the one next to it.
I decided to wait until today, and, yes, thank you, I am double checking that it is not there. It is no where to be found. Yes, it is weird!
It is not the penguin, that was a renewal.
It is a 2/12" x 3 1/2" framed to 5 x 5 3/4" Cedar Tree pen and ink drawing. It had been in a show in my area, so my husband made a poplar wood frame for it. So I had deactivated it while it was in the show. Then yesterday, I clicked on it in the Inactive Listing status to edit the photos, description, etc. I wonder if that was somehow the problem? I have never edited a listing that was Inactive before. Nevertheless, it didn't work out well!
I'm going to try again listing it from scratch then.
Edit to this reply:
It is now listed: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1640110146/framed-wall-artwork-original-pen-and-ink?click_key=6e88e1e3c...
It occurred to me that, when I went to edit it, it was in the old listing style, so maybe that was the problem.
