Could not send message error

I’m trying to respond to messages, but continue to get a “could not send message” error. Is this happening to anyone else? If the error is not fixed in time, how will it affect star seller message response rate?

If the messages are telling you that you have an order but you need to send an email to them, those are scam messages. Etsy has probably deactivated those accounts. Be aware, if you get an order it will be in your payment account.

Either this or if you can send NO messages your messaging may have been suspended. As always..clear cache and cookies and see if it works on another browser/device.  You really have to troubleshoot yourself here as it is hard to get any response from Etsy.

I’ve done mall the initial troubleshooting before posting to no avail, I apologize, I should have made that clear. I think maybe the accounts were deactivated…has anyone had this happen and can attest to how it was handled with SS? I also emailed Etsy but they typically don’t provide specific help, just general summaries lol
