Reposting to technical issues because this appears to be some kind of bug... A supplier accidentally sent me the wrong thing and I sent him a help request. He sent me a shipping label, I'm sending the item back, and all is good. Then last night, a duplicate of the help request shows up in my inbox. I can delete it, but I get a message that it's going to spam and they're blocking the sender, so I reversed that. I actually want to receive his messages, and I don't think it would be a good thing to block and report him for spam whilst we're working through an issue. I want the thing, and not a cancelation from a peeved seller. What I didn't realize until he messaged me today, asking me to please be patient until my return is scanned by USPS, was that he received a second help request. I messaged him back and let him know about the duplicate help request. I am very puzzled and a little concerned about it though.
Just reply back that Etsy glitched and you did not send the second request.
I did. He hasn't replied, but he's been pretty good with communicating up to this point, so hopefully he knows I didn't send a second request. I don't actually know what Etsy does if you do that. I don't even know if you can do that on purpose, lol. I've never tried.
If you replied, don't worry about it. The ball is not in your court now.
