Many customers, followers and friends are telling me none of my items are showing in search. I even had people search by price. IS there a problem or are we all lost? LOL
Yes because your shop is indexed.
No there's not a problem and yes, they show up in search.
I can search for a word in any of your titles in your shop and get results so you are indexed.
I searched on Etsy for your "flowy white lace tablecloth" and you're on page 1, 3rd row.
I searched for white lace tablecloth with ruffles, still on page 1.
Not everyone gets the same results.
ETA I found some of your pictures confusing and way to cluttered. I can't tell from the photo what you're selling in quite a few listings.
A flower arrangement or the stool, a taxidermy chick (which is hard to see), a book that isn't visible in the picture.
With so many different items in the pictures, it's not clear what you're selling so a lot of shoppers might not bother to click to find out or realize the picture doesn't show exactly what you're selling.
Also get rid of "shabby chic". It's trademarked.
People are not having trouble with my photos. I have had them pretty much the same for years. I am being told that in search my pieces don't show up. It's odd. I have a huge following. Thank you.
Thank you for looking. It's not new people; it's my following over 30 years worth..LOL. I am being indexed. Thank you for looking I really appreciate that.
Photo requirements have changed a lot. It's recommended only the item should show in the 1st picture so AI will know what it is your selling.
There're also size requirements now.
What worked for years could not be working now.
Your pieces DO show up in search.
If a lot of "new" people have found your items and think it's one thing only to find out after clicking on it, it's not what they thought it was, Etsy's search thinks it's not what people are looking for and pushes the items further down in the search pages. It lowers your conversion rate.
I do have to fix the 'shabby chic' back to other wording.
You can check yourself to see if your shop is indexed by simply typing a word in the textbox of your shop home page. Listing comes up. You are indexed.
We figured out the issue. Everyone was going to my dot com and looking for items I have not listed there. Thank you everyone for trying to help.
