Do i need to verify my bank account for my first order?

Do i have to verify my bank account details again for my first order. I got a message from etsy staff saying i need to verify my bank account details to confirm order. And then they said i need specific amount in my bank account for transfer verification. Pls tell me if this is real or scam. I didn't know you need specific amount of money in your bank account

That's a scammer.

NO ONE needs to know how much is in your bank.  If you were to tell them a low amount, they would return with "you need more".  Again, NO ONE needs to know this info.

etsy asked me to verify my first order but it hasn’t asked how much is in there, is this a scam?

@Former_Member: It is NOT an order - real orders will show up on your Orders & Shipping page and your Payments page.

It is a SCAM - if you provided any personal or financial information contact your financial institution immediately. If you provided any log in information you need to change those passwords.

Genuine messages from Etsy will be in the 'from Etsy' folder in your message inbox (check this using a browser as it's not there on the app).
