Hi there,
I currently use WooCommerce and the Divi theme builder for the site and products. When I export products from WooCommerce to Etsy, the Product Description has a bunch of short code in it because it's not looking at the right product description. If I remove Divi from being the editor of the product, then it works. But, this breaks all of my formatting and such that matches the site.
Does anyone use WooCommerce and the Divi editor for all of your products and sync the products over to Etsy? If so, I'd like to know how you got this to work and if the product description comes over correctly or not.
Thank you!
@BentleyLaneCreations: Don't use Wordpress or Divi, but Etsy does not allow HTML (formatting) in the listing description. However a quick look at the Divi site seems to imply that the link is from Etsy to your site, not in the other direction. https://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/divi-resources/how-to-integrate-your-etsy-shop-into-your-divi-web...
Thanks for the reply. This is used in the case where you are putting Etsy content into your pages. I'm syncing products from WooCommerce into Etsy.
@BentleyLaneCreations: Some time ago we helped a friend set up a WooCommerce - Etsy sync and at that time the data was transferred and synced as unformatted only (probably due to Etsy's prohibition on user HTML in the listing). Perhaps your question should be directed to Divi customer service.
