Digital download file linking to wrong listing
Hello everyone,
I have a strange issue going on with my digital download pdf that I provide to buyers. The file links to the google drive folder where the wall art files are located for each of my listing. I have had several buyers tell me that the pdf is linking them to the wrong folder (in each case it’s linking to the same folder regardless of product purchased). When I click the link myself it goes to the correct folder. I have deleted it and reuploaded it, renamed it and neither worked. This seems to only affect the file provided by Etsy after purchase. From any other access the link is right. Has anyone heard of this glitch before and is there a fix? Thanks for the help.
Edward

Re: Digital download file linking to wrong listing
Does the text in the file show the url? You've tried clicking on the hyper link but have you tried copying and pasting the link into a browser? I'm just wondering if there is a mismatch between the visible url text and the embedded one.

Re: Digital download file linking to wrong listing
Hi, same issue on my store, I embedded up to 3 links on a "button" in adobe acrobat, I should mention that I used google drive direct link generator to convert the google drive links into direct download links.

Re: Digital download file linking to wrong listing
Hi there, in case you did not figure it out yet or if it can help somebody who'd stumble on the same issue, I found the solution from this thread https://community.etsy.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Digital-Download-PDF-Link-not-going-to-the-correct-Go...
So basically if you have your PDF sending clients to wrong google drive folders, it's probably that you still have a previous link (the "wrong" one) hidden somewhere in your PDF, probably next to where clients must click to download their files. Hope this will help.
