Hello,
i have some issues to list a digital item. I have some wallmounts for Lego Set's in my shop. One kind of them are wallmounts for a Lego car collection. These are not selling very well and I thought it might be a good idea to list them as a digital *.stf and *.3mf file. So anyone who will buy them can download these and print them at home or at a friend.
So i took several approches to list them - as soon as they should be available i recieve a massage this would be against etsy's policy.
What is wrong here? I designed all of these mount's. There are several people selling files for 3D printing. Has anyone an idea what i am missing? There is at least no opportunity to reach out to the etsy support. All i get are the same emails over and over which say something like: We won't review this - better luck next time.
Thanks for reading and best regards from Germany!
You can't use the word Lego. It's trademarked. When you list something new the bots pounce on it immediately.
You may have to say the shelves are for "Universal interlocking bricks, modular building system, plastic construction toy blocks" or similar instead of "Lego."

Thank you for your answer! 19 of 25 listings I have contain the word, because the product is related to these. Is the bot looking for this only the first time I list a article or will it check changes aswell?
The bots will get around to everything eventually, but new and renewed are getting to be pretty much immediate.
Anyway - I guess you made a point. All other listings are without the company's name. I'll try it then with a different approach! Thanks

Thanks for your answer! Well, this would be a false definition, the prints are exclusive for these Lego Models. I will think about how to manage it. But this is quite a mess. If I think about it.... all my stuff is related to a product of a company which brand is trademarked.
As mentoined above, I checked the other shops. They don't use the companys name for digital files. So I will leave this away I guess.
Back in the day, when people were contestants on game shows, they would say they were a pilot for a well known airline or they made steering wheels for a well known auto manufacturer. Even now, they are occasionally specific, but mostly not. If you sell doll clothes you have to 11.5 inch fashion doll instead of Barbie. It definitely makes it difficult to describe something you make to enhance or improve on something that already exists.
