Didn’t reply to advertisement message

I didn’t reply to one of my messages that was a fund raiser advertisement and therefore got a poor score and did not make star seller this month. What do you do when no reply is needed?  Thank you

Mark as spam. You must do one or the other. Read the rules, which are right on your Star Seller dashboard and also in Help Center.

It was from a client   It was a message sent to many about raising money for a dog charity. Do I still mark that as spam?  It didn’t require an answer.

Yes, we have to respond to the first thread in every message as we have been told about a million times. Mark as spam and maybe it will fix the problem.

Mark it SPAM, It will fix the problem.

It will drop off in a day or 2 & then restore Star Seller at the same time.

All messages must be replied to or marked Spam irregardless of content.

Etsy doesn't know what the message is about. 

If you don't want to mark it as spam, then you have to reply. Even to say 'no thanks, I'm not interested'.

In this instance it really it should be sent to spam because that's exactly what that person is doing, spamming people and abusing the system.
