Has anyone else had a delay where the customer has requested an update for an order? Or the customer never even sent it?
I had sorted the customers query on a previous message, her delivery was late or missing - we didnt know at that point, so I sent her a replacement that very day and sent it 1st class - even discussing that she may end up with two - but thats absolutely fine, just want to make sure she receives the item.
Then randomly I receive an alert saying "customer is requesting an update on the order"????? I reply immediately saying, not sure why this message has come through again, but please dont worry, it has all been sorted, I have dispatched you another one yesterday. The customer replies that she never sent another request and is baffled???? I then pop on Etsy today to see I have been down scored for not replying to a customer request immediately when I did?????? Has anyone else experienced this? Please help as Etsy are convinced I didnt reply within 24 hours (because thats what the system tells them) but I did, I replied immediately??? Even the customer has said she never sent a second request.
Sometimes if a question was asked through the help section, you recieve a message from Etsy and the customer. It has happened to me. Check your messages folder and see if you can spam the second one. Your numbers should go back up.
