Dear Etsy, I use Australia Post, not UPS

I have been experiencing an intermittent bug for a while now when I manually mark an order complete on Etsy but now it is happening every single time.
When I open an order and select Complete order the carrier defaults to Australia Post as it should. But when I type in the tracking number the Complete order button goes to greyed out. When I move the cursor away from the tracking number box this error appears The number you entered isn't a valid UPS tracking number.

The only way I can continue is to cut out the tracking number with a Ctrl+X, change the carrier to UPS then back again to Australia Post and copy the tracking number back in. Sometimes I have to try it twice.
It became constant when Australia Post cycled to Rxxxxxx016 as the prefix for their domestic parcel over the counter tracking numbers (this string is followed by another six or more unique numbers). The bug happened occasionally when the last three were 013, 014 or 015. For some reason Etsy really doesn't like the last three of 016 in the prefix.

I have tried reporting this to Esty but the only option I can get is Chat with us. As soon as I can get an Email us option I will report it.

They likely know about it, I've been dealing with it here n there for some time. Worse when I enter in the tracking as Aus Post and it still comes up as Fed-Ex pre transit. And doesn't move, because etsy's system is using Fed-Ex's tracker to follow it. So I then have to contact the buyer and copy/past the AU post link... bleh

If they ever fix it, it'll be a while, possibly they see as prompting us to use Labels instead. But I still have trouble getting labels to charge accurately when something is a certain size and weight. I complained via support - they blamed Aus Post. I asked Aus Post via their Facebook, they said it's Etsy's problem LOL - I'm inclined to agree with them! Until they start including the flat-rate boxes/mailers on Labels, it's a no from me.

I use AusPost for all my orders, and I haven't encountered this issue - but I haven't had any tracking numbers ending in 1x.

Contact ETSY support. Etsy usually doesn't react to stuff in these forums (unfortunately)

Today I was going to take screen shots for Etsy support but the order completion worked perfectly. Hooray! Fingers crossed...
