Deals tab condtantly popping out

Anyone else have this issue?
Been happening for a week.
Have contacted Etsy who 1 rep said Etsy knew of this and had their engineers on it, to the other reps who acted like they didn't know anything. 
It happens everywhere, clicking on other peoples listings, etc
The Deals tab just pops out, and freezing my computer for a second.

I haven't had this happen (knock on wood), clicking onto listings to browse and purchase. In the past, I did get Pop Ups saying, "Hurry, almost gone," but I haven't seen those in a while.
When you contacted Etsy, was it Chat? Because they are outsourced, and usually read from scripted answers.
I hope this stops for you, especially due to it freezing up your computer.

Do you mean the pop ups for purchasing?  I get those and they don't freeze my computer.   Chances are it is your computer and security that is set for it.  Do you have any pop up extension app that you are using to avoid them?  Sometimes those type of apps are the culprit. 

As to the answer received that sounds like it came from chat and when they don't have an answer they claim someone is working on it.  They actually don't have clue about what you asked.

It's been happening to me too.

Every time I click on a link or open a new Etsy tab, the "deals" dropdown activates and then disappears. It happens when I'm browsing or when working on my shop, and in both instances it's extremely distracting and annoying. (For those who don't know, the "deals" button is the "bell" icon at the top right of the page.) 

Update: It doesn't happen in Safari. I just tried. So, it looks like I'll be switching over to Safari until Etsy and Google figure it out.

Hello yes I am having this issue it's so incredibly annoying . I have read the deals and it knows I have read it but the red dot won't dissapear and the tab drops down every single time the page is changed or updated, it's driving me insane.
