Re: Deactivated active listings

" I even purchased thousands of EBOOKS with all the resell rights to have a different product for what they keep deactivating. "

You cannot resell items like this on Etsy. This is clearly spelt out in the rules that you agreed to when you joined the site.

Etsy is not "attacking" you. They are stopping you from selling things that you should not sell.

Wow...I would be worried that my shop was going to get shut down.

Are the items you are listing infringing items?  If you are, expect to be shut down.  You are on Etsy radar.

You mention "Still haven't got it and in the meantime.... no sales."  Sellers that do not follow the rules and make sales selling illegal items don't get much sympathy in the forums.

No, It's not my EBOOKS, I have the licensing rights to all those I purchased. It's every YellowStone project I post. Whether it's other digital files I purchased from others. Or projects I have created they deactivate everything that is posted YellowStone. So again its very frustrating when other people selling the same things I bought from them and they have thousands of sales for the exact thing.

Re: Deactivated active listings

It's every YellowStone product I post.

And the comment "She never got it" She purchased a digital product from me and never downloaded it. I explained to her where to find it in the purchase and review section, But claimed she never got it. But other people purchased the same thing and they loved the digital download. So not sure why she was the only one who purchased that had an issue. Noone else who bought it had any problems.

Re: Deactivated active listings

But YOU did not write the books.

They are not handmade by YOU.

Therefore, they can not be sold on Etsy.

You can only sell items that are handmade by you, vintage (over 20 years old) or supplies for art and crafting.

If you have the rights to sell them, you can on other sites such as your own website.

But not on Etsy.

Re: Deactivated active listings

No you can't sell Yellowstone products unless you have purchased licensing from the Yellowstone IP holder..which they would not sell to just anyone.  No buying something Yellowstone from another Etsy seller or even legitimate Yellowstone supplies if any does not transfer Yellowstone licensing to you. If the person selling you the Yellowstone ( counterfeit) supply told you you could use it for items to resell open a case and get your money back and report them to Yellowstone too. Read up on IP copyright  and Trademark  and also what can be sold here. Good luck.

Re: Deactivated active listings

It can take Etsy up to 10 days to reply, if they reply at all. They don't usually tell you exactly what you did wrong. There was something about glitter a while back and a lot of your products have glitter, but I don't remember what the issue was.

If Etsy deactivates a product, you can't put it back up until they approve it, or they will permanently close your shop.

@CommonScentsbyBrandi

What other people are doing on Etsy is the worst thing to use to judge if you can do it. There are a lot of cheaters and they just haven't been caught yet.

The best thing to do is read the Etsy Seller's Handbook (linked at the top of the page) from cover to cover, especially any articles on infringement and Legal issues, and what  you cannot sell.

Re: Deactivated active listings

Thank you everyone who has responded to my dis-stress. Obviously I want to follow their rules and policies, But this situation I am battling is frustrating and I am trying to comply but I simply don't understand how other people can sell the EXACT same thing on their personal shops. I am trying to gain my follower base. I am trying to figure out how to make my posts look catchy like others. Trying to duplicate other successful shops. Trying to find a product that people are wanting, Obviously YellowStone is a hot product that everyone wants and everyone is selling but I can't for some reason. Thank you again. I appreciate all the help.

Re: Deactivated active listings

They are breaking the law too and will eventually be removed also. The IP holder has to file removals one at a time.  I assume that takes awhile if there are a lot of infringers.

since this isn't your OP, best to start another one.

or request a shop critique. I see many issues. But we're encouraged to NOT provide critiques unless specifically asked.
