DYMO Labelwriter XL Margin Issue

Jump to solution

I do love being able to ship letters and flats with tracking (well, sort of) through Etsy shipping. However, my Dymo LabelWriter XL prints the flat & letter return address outside the margins. That means that the first letter of my name, address number and city are cut off. I add them back in manually, but it looks hokey.

Any suggestions? I have researched but did not find anything. Thanks!

You should be able to reduce the size of the label in the print dialog box before you print it.

@ErinJPhotos I can reduce the size of the label but the edge still cuts off. It pulls away from the far side!

When the print dialog comes up we sometimes need to play around with the positioning (make sure it is set to the center of the page) and also the scaling (try something slightly < 100%).  These additional options might be under Advanced or something in the print dialog (this is in Windows - not sure about Mac)

Yes, using Windows @perksandrecreation have not figured out how to move it toward the center of the page. When I scale it to less than 100%, it pulls away from the far side of the label and the problem area remains cut off.

I'm sure I'm missing something : )

I am having same issue as of today. Prior I was able to reduce size to 95% using microsoft edge browser, no other browser worked with same results. Now back to wasting labels trying to figure out why this solution no longer works either.

Would adding a space to the beginning of your name work?
