Customers unable to send me a message
In the last day or so I've had customers say they are unable to message me. They have had to find me through other means, I.e. email and social media.
Additionally, for the first time, I've had a different customer say they placed an order and it has yet to show up for me.
Is there a bug or something happening right now?

The app is full of bugs but if you don't see an order on your browser /desktop there might be problem with the customers payment method and they should contact Etsy direct

@KawaiiPawtisserie Could also be a scam attempt, but we are not allowed to help sellers who violate Etsy’s TOU.
You should read up on intellectual property infringement.

All could be scam attempts to take you off Etsy, once off Etsy, you have no protection. Or the users (probably scammers) have been sending too many messages to sellers, and Etsy has suspended their messages to protect sellers. As for the sale that isn't showing up, are they asking for your email address to complete the order, if so, it is a definite scam, even if they haven't, it's probably still a scam attempt.

Thank you for your replies. You gave me things to consider. However, the most concerning is that these are real (future customers) that are needing to contact me through email and social media to ask questions about orders. One was even a customer with a current order, in mid conversation, that had to switch to emails because they were having trouble with the Etsy messages. I worry that I have missed other potential customers due to the problem. This issue has come on suddenly, I hope it resolves just as quickly. I am unsure of anywhere else I can go for help than the community.
