Have received two emails from customers telling me that they are trying to purchase but no matter what they do they are not able to choose the bust and length requirement to be able to put it into their carts to check out. Hopefully Etsy Tech will see this and correct. Sales are tough enough to be twarted by tech issues.
They need to contact Etsy support. You can give them the link for buyers. They need to tell Etsy what they are trying to do and at what point in the ordering process it is going wrong. screenshots can help. Are they getting an error message? Do they have other items in their cart? Can they try using the 'But it Now' button?
The customer yesterday sent me an image. It just keeps telling her that she has to choose an option but it won't let her choose an option and the customer today told me the same thing.
and yes they had other items in the cart but all were from my shop only. I set up custom links for both of them to be able to buy. Not too many people want to have to contact Etsy and then wait for help. I thought this was where I was supposed to post any tech issues. Thanks for replying.
I believe there were some recent posts about this, and the advice was for the customers to use a browser instead of the app. Did you look at the other posts in Technical Issues?
There's some glitch with the app and choosing variations, it seems.
I've seen several posts about this issue and apparently the only workaround is to use a browser instead of the app. We're coming up on the biggest shopping week of the year- Etsy really needs to sort this out ASAP!
