Customers clicking on Etsy Ads

Hi there,

I'm seeing the little megaphone sign beside orders saying that customers are clicking on ads when I don't have any running. Is this a new thing that I've never seen before?

It could be that they clicked on an offsite which you would have since you can not opt out of them after you make a certain amount of money on etsy?

I thought in the past though that the megaphone was for etsy ads but maybe now it shows if they clicked on any ad.

I would triple-check that your ads have not been turned on by Etsy. It's happened many times.

Double check again, as others have reported, the ads they had turned off, but,……  somehow they got turned on again, somehow.. doo doo que twilight (Etsy) zone.

I just found out that apparently it's a glitch. I was worried I was being charged for my customer clicking on an ad that I'm not technically running. Thankfully not the case.
