A customer contacted me a few hours ago saying she was blocked by a red banner stating “This item is no longer available in the quantity you selected“ when she tried to put it in her cart. The item she wants is most definitely available, and she ordered the correct quantity (1). It’s a listing with multiple options for different styles, and I wondered if that’s an issue. I’ve contacted Etsy, but it’s the weekend so…any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
Is it the steiff hand puppets? I got the same error message, even on the PC. You've got something wrong in the variations setup - the listing says only 1 available, but you are showing 4 options in the drop-down. If you really have one of each, you need to be sure that the "Quantities vary per variation" is checked and the inventory section lists 1 per each option.
@ModerationCorner - I think you've figured it out - I can add any one of the 4 puppets to cart, but if I go back and try to add a second, I get that warning banner the OP mentions.
@PuzzlepurseVintage If this is the one with the 4 puppets, edit your Variation - checking "quantities vary" will default to one for each of the options you entered, enabling each one to be sold, rather than having the quantity of one for the whole listing.
If they are using the app, tell them to use a browser instead.
Thank you! I will do so
@PuzzlepurseVintage I can check if you let me know which listing. I added a cute bear to cart, and it looks ok to me.
Sometimes items have gotten de-indexed if the Seller comes back from vaca mode, or even used Quick Edit.
You’re sweet to have tried, thank you! It was the Smurf marching band listing, which has multiple options. I was wondering if that was part of the problem…if I’d somehow listed them incorrectly.

Thank you!!! I think that’s it!
Yes - same situation with the Smurf Marching band.
I believe the problem is solved! Thank you!!
