A customer of mine purchased a listing using what Etsy describes as an "Unsupported Platform". However she placed the order didn't allow Etsy to assign a ship-by date. And, even though I didn't ask her to do this, or even know how she managed to do this, I'm being penalized at the expense of my Star Selling rating. I have no control over how people order online. And it's not my fault that the platform couldn't figure things out. Now I'm being dinged for two reasons that I cannot fix. First it says one order has no processing time. Again, not my fault as this was a glitch in the matrix on not on my end. And second, it says that one order has no tracking info. Well, it does, but because of the glitch, it doesn't count apparently.
Some tracking numbers, the software cannot read and in that case Etsy say there is no tracking. They know this but are not willing to change.
As to the first issue, the buyer may have used Apple Pay or another system or even hacking which allowed them to purchase somehow. Since this is unusual did you ask Etsy about it?
Unsupported Platform means they've ordered through a Pattern site, or outdated Etsy app where they cannot see or use any personalisation field you may have on your listings.

I don’t understand this. I get lots of these unsupported platform orders. They have never interfered or caused issues with shipping profiles.
The order placed on the unsupported platform didn't come through the system with a processing time. I do not know why. This listing has been used many times and has a processing time assigned to it. The order was processed and shipped. But Etsy is still dinging my Star Seller because it says '1 order missing processing time." And, when I download the file to see which one it is, it's the one that came through weird and glitched everything out.
