Custom order inquiry images upside down?

Hello, I am working on a custom order and sending images in an on-site reply message for review, but etsy is turning the images upside down. So, I went into my photos and turned them upside down on purpose, and they still arrive upside down. This also happened yesterday with the first inquiry, all images are uploading upside down. This happens both on and off the etsy app.

I’m getting the order organized and the client is able to see the images (upside down!) but this is a problem and I’m pretty sure it’s not on my end. I’m posting/reporting it under technical issues to let etsy know, there is no specific tag for this issue. 

Anyone else having this problem? I can find a thread on this subject.

@OhFaroBasement:  There have been a number of threads about issues with custom orders and I do not believe there has been any resolution. You may want to look at some of them to see if there are any hints that could help you.

Are they upside down, or just turned sideways? I had a problem like that and it was loading the widest side horizontally and the shorter side vertically. When I cropped them square, then they loaded properly.

They are flipped upside down. Weird. I’ll try it in a square. Thanks.

I have the same issue where it is turning them from so that the longest part is horizontal.  I shouldn't need to crop a photo to not have it turn sideways.  The old app sure didn't mess up the pics like that.  Makes it hard for customers to read text from a digital proof sideways. Not liking this at all.  I sure hope they make it stop turning the pics we upload since I have been forced into the new app.  Why not get the kinks worked out before forcing everyone to use it.

This has been happening to me as well.  I use an iPad most of the time for photos.  I started to take them with the iPad flipped which helped.  What a weird glitch.
