When I provide my customers with a custom link for a purchase, they cannot use the app to open it. The app takes them to my Shop home page rather than their item link. The same link works correctly in the browser, so it's an app issue. Anyone else having this problem?

Sounds like an issue with a setting on their device for handling links. If they have the etsy buying app installed, they need to check to make sure that all etsy links that are clicked will take them to the app and not a web browser.
Thank you for your reply! I am wondering if it makes a difference where I create the link, on a web browser or in the seller app, in terms of functionality? Shouldn't the link work regardless, since the customer can shop on the app or on a browser. This has been an ongoing issue the last month or so, with my links not working correctly for some customers.
The app can be persnickety at times, you may need to have them purchase from a browser rather than the app.
I’ve continually had this issue with different customers at different times. Then suddenly for no apparent reason they will log on at a different time and it will work. I would really like to know what the actual issue is.
