Custom Digital Orders

I have been experiencing an issue with my custom digital item where my DIGITAL CUSTOM ORDERS are automatically  marked as COMPLETED and DELIVERED on my dashboard, even though they are actually NEW ORDERS that I have not yet fulfilled. I am also unable to close these orders or upload files for my customers, I have to send them to they e-mail.

I have had this listing in my shop for over a year now, and I have never encountered any problems like this before. I have double checked the settings in my listing, and it is created as DIGITAL FILE an "ORDER TO MADE". It clearly states in my listing that customers will be able to download the file when I close the order. But I am not able to close the order or send the files.

One of my customers has sent me a screenshot of their dashboard, which shows that they have purchased custom digital item from my shop, but there is no option to download the files because order is in process, I am not able to close that order and send digital files.

It is some glitch in listing but I don't know how to fix it?

Go in and edit the listing, selecting a different when was it made, or selecting physical and then set it back to made to order or digital (whichever you pick to change). This should force it back to being correct.

I had this happen with a brand-new listing ... all of my listings are made-to-order digital products, so the setup is the same for all of them.  I double-checked every setting as Etsy changed the look of the dashboard, etc.  I wasn't having any trouble with previous listings, but this new one was a problem.  I'll have to wait and see if the above suggestion worked.  I hope so because it's going to be a bear to keep track of orders if the system tells me every one is already fulfilled/completed.

I just listed my first Custom Digital product and asked my friend to purchase as a test, and had the same issue. The order shows as 'completed' with no obvious way to upload the product to the buyer.  Very disappointing. I'll need to deactivate this listing until I can get a solution. I'll check back here if anyone finds a solution...much appreciated.

This is a known issue, i spoke with etsy earlier in the week and they informed me their tech people are looking into it.
