Custom Digital Downloads go Straight to Completed

The last two custom digital downloads I have sold have gone straight to the "Completed" tab. They should be in my "New" tab as they are listed as Custom (and yes, I have listed them correctly, these items have sold and relisted multiple times just fine and I am an experienced seller with digital items).

I will not be able to provide the files via Etsy now, which is not a huge deal as I will email the client etc. so I have all that handled and do not have a question about what to do with that...but this is the 4th time this has happened this year and I am just curious if this will ever be resolved.

Luckily, my custom orders require information the client needs to provide me before they can be completed (guest list) so I eventually do catch them but it is very unprofessional on Etsys part to have this continue to happen...and it is annoying as it messes with my work tracking flow as now the item is in my "completed" so I have to manually track it through my process.

That's what happens when you attached a downloadable file to the listing.

NanaLetha, no, you can't attach a file when you set 'custom'.

I have the same problem. It's a bug.

I found this

You have to use the old listing process.

But i don't know what to do, when only the new one will exist.
