Credit card security code

Costumer not sure if credit card security code was enter correctly, I'm not sure but I believe that if the security code is wrong it won't go through. Correct me if I'm wrong. I want to make sure, thanks!

There is nothing you can do about it. I've bought many items on Etsy and never had to enter my cc security code.

You are correct the order would not have been processed if they entered the wrong code.  If you see the order on your dashboard they entered everything correctly.

If you don't have an order from this person they either entered it incorrectly and the order failed and they should try again. 

If they start asking other odd stuff about credit card numbers, asking you to input your CC info somewhere else, etc. and you have no order from them, proceed with caution.  Lots of scams going on here.
