Could the support be an AI support?
Because I have a big problem that cannot be solved. I wonder if I am communicating with AI support? The communication seems somehow inadequate to me. There is no logic.
What do you think?
How do I contact a support supervisor? Who is sure to be human?
Do you have an idea?

Before posting on the Forums, please check if you are not bumping an old thread that hasn't seen any activity in a while. You can do this by looking at the dates of the most recent replies.

Chat is outsourced and has a script to work from for a limited range of topics.
The help / advice is often misleading or even outright wrong.
If you go through the Dashboard Help / Contact Us link to log a Support Ticket, the first few replies you get is often automated but if you keep replying "I still need Help" to the ticket you will eventually receive a reply from an actual person.
Keep responding to the same ticket until you reach a person. Do not keep opening new ones as this will close any previous tickets as "solved"

@Albenka Hope you get an answer. If not, there may be some on the forum who may be able to help
The first answer will be generic. Etsy always give out information from HElp or Our House Rules. If that does not answer then use the same email to reply back that you still need help.
My issue has been successfully resolved.
I am happy that the support takes care of me.

I just contacted their support through chat. After receiving generic answers, I asked the agent if they were human or AI, they said they are human. However, thy are not. You can see from the way their replies are written, especially if you yourself use AI on a daily basis. I got contradictory answers and when I pointed it out, the agent thanked me for my understanding. Understanding of support, not providing support? I hope there will be a law forcing them to state if the support is AI and also give us the option to choose.
