Core Detail problems Anyone else?

I had this problem yesterday and now again today. I can't change anything in a listing. If I change anything in the listing it says the core details need to be fixed but there is nothing to fix. The core details are correct. Happening on my desktop or laptop in both chrome and edge. Unable to publish any changes at all. Anyone find a fix for this?

Wonder if it Could be a windows thing.. not having issues with my Apple products.. Generally the app seems to be the issue-- did you try to publish thru that on your phone ( if you have one).

Hi, Yesterday I did a Renew Sold > Edit on 2 items. To plug in new photos of more of the same Handmade Item. I didn't have any problems with Core Details or anything else (desktop computer, Chrome, Windows 10). I haven't done anything with listings today.

On my listing I found that the sub category, (that you can't see without clicking on it) had lost its check mark by the time I filled in the rest of the form. I had to go back and add it again.

Thanks for trying to help everyone. I finally figured it out. I had to click change in the core details box so it would take me back to the (when was it made by date) area. For some reason my listings lost their made by date and this would not allow me to publish the listings.

Same kind of thing as ^^^. Some of the stuff is NOT sticking in the details and you have to go back & find it. Totally wasting your time as no one (Programmers whoever) fixes anything here.

Yes, I have found the same, mostly with older listings which were on the old form originally. Bit baffling at first when you can't find what is wrong! I wish those details weren't hidden away in a box.

Thanks everyone....it does seem to be really time consuming and not user friendly at all.  I will try some of the advise and see if it works.   Meanwhile I added some items for sale and was not happy to see I can only set up a 25% off sale.  I wanted to  make a %10 sale.  Anyway, thanks again.

you can do a custom % off. In the drop down at the bottom there is a custom option. You can then select the % off you want.

I am experiencing this issue myself for the last few weeks. Etsy doesn't have a phone number and the chat boxes are of no help. I've even had chats with actual people from the Etsy team and they are of no help either.

I've included screen shots of the screen where it freezes and won't let you continue to fill out the details.

I've noticed this has been mentioned as far back as August of 2024 by Etsy users so don't hold your breath thinking this issue will get resolved soon. I'd suggest moving on to another online platform until Etsy gets this resolved. All of the time and effort put into creating a listing and not being able to submit it is frustrating and a waste of time.

@PurpleVelvetRain Etsy Engineering is supposedly working on this glitch but we have no idea how long it will be until it’s fixed. In the meantime just copy another similar listing (or a sold item)and edit that.

I have had this issue for two weeks. I am a vintage seller so making new organic listings is the best and not copying an old listing. I am also a cross poster and have all my photos and details in my cross poster. Therefore transferring all this over to make a new listing from a copied listing is sooooo time consuming. I also need my Etsy listings in my cross posting catalog so it auto deletes it when sold. I realize we all have a different business models and this one has put a big crank in mine as I cannot get past the core details for going on two weeks. Etsy is my top performing site but it has really costing me money either way. I either have to take the time of transferring photos and copying information to copy an old listings or just concentrate my time on other platforms. I have a back log of over 100 new listings now. I have contacted customer service. They have no time frame but are aware of the problem. My issue is it is not site wide. Why do other accounts have that mine does not. I have done all the things of different browsers, clearing cache and so forth still broken. I suggested that they either respond or make a post coming from them that this issue is a problem and reassure us that it will be fixed. However no mention still by them and no follow up. I find this unprofessional not to inform us the customer of the issue and always leave us guessing and frustrated.
