It says that etsy asked for my email in order to pay directly through etsy. Sounds absolutely ridicules and suspicious. To prove it, a screenshot of an etsy request was attached, with a very strong english accent.

I'm trying to reach etsy to check if the buyers' request is correct and if he's a scammer. I've already spent more than an hour of my time searching, but no success or hope. Any suggestions, please?

Thank you

Yes, we are…because we care about our fellow sellers (believe it or not).

@ValeriyaKhomar   It's more important than ever for sellers to check in regularly on the forums. This particular scam has been circulating for weeks and weeks, and it's only been sellers who are helping out with trying to warn folks.

Personally, I am REALLY disappointed Etsy has not put up an announcement about this scam, as some sellers are falling for it.

Welcome to the club! I'm not alone! It seems like Etsy doesn't care much, but they should.
