Am I imagining it, but I had an item that has been up for months. It is being deactivated tomorrow. As no one seemed interested in the item I decided to change it from automatic to manual deactivation, so I didn't have to pay for another 3 months. [I may later on relist it ]

Suddenly today someone has favorited it.

Is this a coincidence or a plan for me to relist the item?

am I being paranoid?

I see this happening quite a lot.  Most of my items are set to manual renewal and they do seem to get a wee boost just before they expire.

I think it's easy to draw those kinds of conclusions - believe me, I've used my share of tin foil to make a few hats   :   ) - but a more likely chance is it when the listing was refreshed, it grabbed someone's attention in a search.
