Choosing Section in Old Version Listing - Cleared

I was using the "old" version of creating a listing as, for me, it is faster and easier.  There was a glitch where the Section drop down was absent.

If anyone experiences this, I saved my listing, then went in to edit it and was able to choose a seciton.  This issue seems to have cleared itself.

It happened to me today. I published the listing, then went in to listings and put it in a section. Are they trying to do way with sections?

It's happened to me twice now.  Poor upgrade testing and validation.  And I agree that the old version was quicker and simpler.

Same problem here but if you leave that listing after you publish it and go back to it, you can then add in the assigned shop section.

More work and just another program glitch.

@ThisandThatCapeCod That’s exactly what I just had to do. Why oh WHY is Etsy making changes to the old version now?! Unless of course they want us to have trouble with it thinking we will switch over to the new one. I wish they would just leave it alone. We like it the way it is.

It has happened to me since the new format for listing was introduced. I do what others above have said but it is one more step to go back to and correct.
