Cant turn off shipping notification emails

I am receiving shipping notification emails from Etsy for every order that I ship. REGARDLESS of whether I ship them on Etsy or on stamps.com. Stamps.com is my regular shipping label provider.

I have made sure the box is NOT CHECKED to send email notifications in etsy and I still get the emails anyway. I have searched high and low for any other place to turn emails off or on.... The only emails I am subscribed to is  'when someone sends me a message'

This started about 2 weeks ago. Etsy help said to post this issue in the Technical Isses forum

@MBACosmetics: "Etsy help said to post this issue in the Technical Isses forum" Of course they did, but hopefully you are aware that this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts).

I did contact Etsy. They worked with me for 30 minutes trying to find out why, but unable to figure it out. They said they were passing it along for more technical help but suggested I post in the Technical Issues forum...just following their suggestion.
