About 9 days ago I had an issue with someone attempting to hack my account. Luckily I caught it all in time and with a little help from Etsy Support, managed to maintain full access to my account but during this period, Etsy temporarily suspended my account whilst I changed my email address and verified my identity.
Since this happened though I have not been able to receive payment deposits. I contacted support via live chat earlier today about this and they said that I need to re-verify my bank details but I have to wait "a few business days" to be able to do this. When I go to my payment settings, there is no option to edit or verify my bank details but they say that "in a few business days" this option will become available.
They cant give me a timeframe but its already been over a week. Im just wondering what I can do about this or if anyone has had a similar issue? This is my full time job and my bills are due tomorrow but my money is held because I just cant re-verify my bank details.
My bank details have been the same for 3 years and I am not looking to change them, I just need to re-verify.
This is beyond stressing me out so any help or advice would be great.
