Hello, please can you help me: I am trying to change my personal name under my public profile but it does not allow me. I click on 'Change or remove' but the only thing that happens is my page goes grey.
I did update the google chrome browser and I did delete cookies from it. I logged out and then logged in. However, no luck, I still did not manage to change my name.

Thanks but I tried what is mentioned in the link you sent under 'Preferred Name' though it does not work for me.
Have you changed it before? I thought there was something were you can only change your name like twice? Might be totally wrong, I'm very tired.
Thanks for your reply. I don't recall changing it in the past. Would be nice if IT Etsy staff could help with this.
I'm pretty sure you can change your profile name as often as you wish. Can't do it through your profile icon - view profile - edit public profile?
I have also tried to change it and have not changed it before, or in many years (Etsy states "You can only change your name a limited number of times. Please contact Etsy Support for further changes).
I have contacted Etsy in the past over this issue and did not receive a response. I stated that I did not wish to have my full name listed for security issues.
Are you using two words? (first name, last name)? ... I tried it before with just my first name and that didn't work; I had to use 2 words to make it work
If you are using the app, try logging in with a browser
I have tried both through browser and app. No luck.
