I am trying to download my Orders for January 2025 and my Etsy Payment Sales for all of 2024.
I do see a green message that says "We're generating your download and will email you a link to it when it's ready."
Problem: I am not receiving an email with the link.
I would check and look in your downloads folder. Many of the reports download directly. And I once got that message that I would get an email, but it took quite some time for it to arrive… Days.
I checked my downloads and the files are not there.
I also tried downloading first on 2/1, no email received in 3 days.
I am having the same problem. I contacted Etsy on Feb 1st and there is still no resolution. I have cleared my cookies, looked in junk folders and everything else I can think of and have done what they have suggested. I have 2 Etsy shops and the other one works great with no issues. Very frustrating.
@TwoSilverMoons I believe Etsy has changed something with the CSV download process recently. Years ago, we had to wait hours for the email and download after that. Then, for quite a few years recently, the CSVs were generated instantly. And, I have just checked my emails, and I was not getting the "Payments Team" email notification that "Your Orders CSV is ready for download"
On the weekend, I was doing my Monthly book keeping and I found that the generation of the CSVs was very slow and I could not download until I received the email "Payments Team" - "Your Orders CSV is ready for download" which took several hours to generate
I'm not getting email advising that my report (order listings) is ready. The other day it took only minutes to receive the Etsy Payment Sales. Nothing in my download file or email. Has there been any movement on this? Thanks, Rebecca
Not in my Junk email folder either. That is where I found the Payment Sales report the other day.
I received the email but when I click on the link, I just get a discombobulated black screen with names and numbers.
go to "save as" and save it in your computer under whatever excel type program you use.
I'm in the same situation, I requested a CSV download at 9:30 this morning ET and I still haven't received the email.
Contacted Etsy support, and apparently it's not an issue on their side.
So....how long do I wait? The last one I requested took all weekend.
That can't be normal when we used to get pretty much an instant link?
Why do we always keep going backwards with Etsy's systems.
FWIW I just tried those two reports, got the green 'will email' message for each, and the emails arrived within 3 minutes. Both downloaded the csvs without issue.
Do you have to save the CSV as anything specific? (under excel or keep as a csv)
And which email from etsy did you get this download from? I've gotten two different emails from Etsy. The first one for the 'monthly summary' download actually downloads instantly but the copy of the download is also emailed by Payments Team (noreply@mail.etsy.com) and then when I tried to download the 'etsy payment sales' or 'orders' no download occurred but I received emails from a Payments.Team (Payments.Team@mail.etsy.com)
So I was just wondering if the email is legitimate. There is a period between 'payments' and 'team' and I have no email history from them. I do have email history from the 'payments team' emails but only for the Monthly Summary reports.
I'm having the same problem. I like when it generates instantly. I requested three different reports this morning and have received none of them in my email.
Copy the above email and place it inside the mail search bar inside your email inbox and it will show you all the mails from etsy.
I had the same issue and this was how i got the download link emails.
I just tried downloading my csvs. Typically, they would generate, do a pop up, & download the file. Seems like the monthly statement would also send an email. Anyway, it looked like nothing happened & I didn't think I got any emails... until I found them in my junk mail! Looks like Etsy is using a different email now. Normally all emails go into my inbox.
These ones were sent from Payments.Team@mail.etsy.com . Prior emails came from Payments Team at noreply@mail.etsy.com .
I contacted Etsy seller support via chat. They’ve e mailed me the CSV report right away. I did get the same message when I’ve tried downloading it.

The problem is that I am receiving the email but the report does not download properly.
I am not able to get my CSV reports for one of my Etsy shops either. The other shop works fine and I have my downloads in seconds. I've been working with Etsy support to no avail.
I'm having the same problem - I can download csvs from monthly statement page but none from Settings - Options - Download data. Have tried and tried since 1 Feb. Used to be pretty instant. now not. can only download the pdf (.json) reliably from this page. The issue has been raised by me with Etsy phone support and I hope to hear by Monday
I used to have to do the wait-for-email route if I wanted to download a csv for the first tpye of monthly data - order items - but the rest downloaded immediately. Now I get the 'will email' banner for any of those four files. But the email arrives within 3 minutes.
The json files in the 'Take your data with you' area download immediately.
whooops - etsy posted twice after throwing 'flood' message.
I have raised this with ETSY Support giving this page as a link. Hopefully, this will be sorted - crossed fingers!

I am having the same issue, my CPA and I have also tried... we cannot download the CSV files needed and I never receive emails from Etsy with the link. I really need to get my accounting done, I hope Etsy sees this and helps ASAP!
