Editing items is a bit of a hit and miss as well. I changed the prices on a few of my listings and at least two or three of them wouldn't "take" ... the new price was visible only by clicking on the listing ... in my store it still showed the old price (even after refreshing and waiting a long time). The only solution I could find was to deactivate them and then immediately reactivate them. That way the new price was displayed in both the store and the listing itself.
I was able to renew mine by going into each item as if I wanted to edit them and then click renew and it worked. I renewed one by one 20 items instead of batch renew. I also never forget to uncheck the auto renew square. It's not practical but at least items are renewed !
However, the problem "uh oh" with featuring items is not solved. (an additional glitch). Instead of using the yellow stars, I went to edit shop, edit featured queue and clicked on the ones I wanted to unfeature, and searched manually for the ones I did want to feature and it worked that way.
More management workarounds to know, lol. Hope everything is back to normal soon !
I contacted Etsy. They are looking into the issue. I told my contact there were many other shops with the same problem. She said they'll look into it. Hopefully the glitches will be corrected soon.
+1. Those shops who can renew or remove are located in different servers, some servers are affected. Since Etsy doesn't own servers and rent them it's unknown when they are gonna fix it. Maybe a planned switched off to save $$ for renting.
I can't renew , deactivate or delete listings that have already expired. I copied and published all my expired listing to get around not being able to renew them but now I have a bunch of expired listings I would like to delete.
The regular item renew button doesn't seem to be working, but I discovered that I can renew them one item at a time by clicking on the item's drop-down box, then choose View on Etsy, and when the item comes up, then I click on the renew button near the upper left side of the screen. I am using a desk top computer so I don't know if this will work if you are doing it from a cell phone.
