Several days with this problem on my PC using Chrome-
I cannot click some buttons like selecting a different shipping method, or changing the physical attributes (made be me etc). It shows an active button, the cursor just jumps to the top of the page when I try to click it. I was also unable to rearrange my shop using section management, the categories just get stuck to my cursor and don't drop, I actually had to close the window to get that to "unstick".
Using Chrome- yes it is up to date. Cleared cache and cookies, rebooted. Checked permissions, I have no extensions active in Chrome.
I had to use Edge to change the properties of listings and change shipping options, and it worked fine in Edge but I HATE that browser. Chrome was working fine until a couple days ago. I am at a loss as to what to try next, it is really annoying.
I have no problem on the buying end, adding items to cart, selecting different shipping, nor do I have problems clicking options in other areas of my shop, so far I am just unable to change my shipping method for sold items and change physical attributes for new items. The rearrange shop seems to have fixed itself somehow.
Unfortunately, it is the browser. I experienced the same thing a few days ago and spoke with Etsy chat who suggested the browser. I use Google Chrome and have always felt it was one of the best browsers. But after speaking with Chat, and then trying a different browser, the problem was resolved.
Chrome is becoming more unstable with Etsy ... I use Edge when such issues arise and then everything works fine.
Etsy suggests you use Chrome in the list of their "browsers that work well with Etsy"... so, maybe they should fix that? Or you know, make it work in all major browsers?
Google is probably too busy working on disabling ad blockers in Chrome (so their revenue stream is not affected) to worry about things like functionality.
I use Chrome and have not had any issues. Etsy is always tinkering around with things and when they do, some folks are effected while others are not. I am more of the opinion that something in Etsy coding wasn't compatible with Chrome. The problem with reaching out to Etsy for help is most of the time you are going to be speaking with someone they have outsourced help to that knows less than you do.
