I cancelled an order because customer provided old shipping address. It shows in my payment section that Etsy has issued a refund, but the order still appears as active/in progress in the orders section. I know that the customer plans on reordering using correct shipping address.
@FadedRoseFactoryEtc - Give it some time for the whole transaction to process & show up correctly in your shop manager.

Refunds and Cancels show right away. no time lag.
Did you actually Cancel the order? Refunding on its own doesn't cancel.
Yes, I renewed the listing and then cancelled the order.
at the risk of sounding like a pest, both of those same items are showing in your solds. If you cancelled the first one it wouldn't be there, just the Reserved one. Look at the three vertical dots on that order and see if Cancel is still available. Plus when you look at that order it will say in red refunded or cancelled.
Yes, I hit “Cancel order” from the drop down and it issued a full refund. The order is still there in the “in progress” section and doesn’t show a refund given on the open orders page, but it shows the money returned to the customer on the “Payments Account.” I relisted the item before canceling. Then buyer got the refund and reordered.
