I'm a seller based in France and as of today (1st July 2022) Etsy are collecting and remitting the new Canadian sales tax.
The problem is..... my Canadian orders aren't printing, all the others are and all Canadian ones were, up until today. I can work around it and hoping it's just a blip but just wondering if anyone else having the same problem?
Yep. I just had the same problem on my laptop. I ended up printing from my iPad though it didn’t look as professional. How did you work around it? I also had an order from the UK and the VAT amount that I’m supposed to list on the package showed up as CA$0! They’ve definitely got it mucked up somewhere.
@EspeciallySelected This appears to be another glitch in Etsy implementation of new Canadian tax procedures. In which province is your customer and have they been charged tax?
It shouldn't, but there could be a related glitch on Etsy's end.
The UK VAT issues could definitely be related to Etsy incorporating the Canadian tax rules, because they are charging the wrong tax for Canadian customers as well.
Problem still ongoing, promised customer I would send out to day, but I can't print any of the invoices to go on the outside of the envelope. Any ideas on how to work around it, other than writing them out by hand
I'm also having this issue, trying to print a packing slip for a Canadian order just brings up a blank browser window, in both Brave and Chrome. Quite shocked to see it's been going on so long with no fix. I'm also in the UK.
